Review: sleek original I divine palette from Luxola

Hi Glamifys,

I’ve been purchasing quite a lot of things from Luxola recently. I like that the shipping is free and I usually get the items within the next working day. I will review the rest of the items once I get a chance to use it for a certain period of time.

There are discounts for certain credit cards and under the OCBC FRANK cards, one customer is entitled to one purchase where for a min. of $20, u get a $10 discount.

The sleek palettes are a UK brand but they are made in china. They retail for sgd 20 on luxola and with the discount above, it worked out to be sgd 10.

I have nothing but raves for this. From the price all the way to the colour payoff. It has 11 shimmery colours and a black matte. Extremely pigmented and stays on for quite a Long time.

There is absolutely no need to use a base to enhance the colour since the colour appears true to what you see in the palette. Personally, I prefer to use a base because I have oily eyelids. The base keeps all my eyeshadow from creasing.

Swatches below are without primer/ base

For those who do not like shimmery shadows, you can check out the ultra matte palette which I will review in the next post.

The colours do not have individual names. There’s a pretty gold, 4 shades of brown/ bronze, olive green, dark green, 3 shades of blue, purple and a matte black. This is a current favorite for me to keep in my makeup bag as it is so light, compact and has a very good range of colours.

It comes with a 2 sided sponge applicator which was the first thing I threw out. Use the shadows wet for extra intensity.

Happy thanksgiving!

Cheers,

Glamify Sg
