Hi Glamifys,
I recently purchased Zombie Girl collection from Concrete Minerals
They are slightly cheaper than Sugarpill and the minimum spend for free international shipping (trackable) is lower than Sugarpill.
It retails for usd 36 and comes in a really nice tin box with awesome art work. The collection consist of 6 pigments in a shifter jar.
Here are the instructions and descriptions about CM
The pigments are easy to blend, color payoff is great just like sugarpill, colour selection is more tame than sugarpill and intensity is buildable.
You would initially think it is such a small jar ( 0.05 oz or 1.5 grams). However, when you swatch it, you would realise that the smallest amount goes a long way.
For those who are vegan and support anti animal cruelty causes, CM is a great brand to support.
They also do not contain
:: Parabens
:: Fragrances and artificial flavors
:: Nano-particles
:: Bismuth Oxychloride
:: Talc and other cheap fillers
Shipping took about 15 working days to Singapore and the tracking system was not updated as regularly as I hoped.
Anyways, here are swatches of the zombie palette which I absolutely adore.
Left to right.
Blood & guts , the vaccine , living dead, graveyard , quarantine, nightmare
Usually, pigments swatch better with a wet brush. Same is the case for CM pigments. You could wet a brush with whichever you please eg water, toner, facial spray, eye drops etc.
Remove the excess and dip into the pigment. Tap the pigment on your lid. Use a dry fluffy brush or even your fingers to blend the edges.
Applying it wet took gives it more intensity. You could also apply a primer and then continue with the wet brush method to get the most out of your pigments.
.
Just an observation: blood & guts left a slight stain on my skin after rinsing pigments off.
I received 2 samples a few days later: Rocked & Wicked
Somehow the camera can never do the pigments justice. They are brilliant and full of tiny glitter. So pretty.
I would highly recommend these 2 colours as they are unique. Both are duo chrome as well. Meaning that the pigments have different tones under different lighting.
Do google for coupon codes and you may just get lucky with the discounts 🙂
TGIF!!!
Cheers,
Glamify Sg
