Review: Mineral Fusion Skin Renewing Facial Scrub

Hi Glamifys,

TGIF!~~

Was digging through my Mum’s cabinet and found the Mineral Fusion Skin Renewing Facial Scrub. I thought I had seen it somewhere and true enough, it was a brand that was on sale on

www.iherb.com last week together with the real technique brush promotion

According to www.iherb.com it costs USD 10.39 and shipping is pretty affordable if you are able to collate your orders. Iherb also has plenty of coupon codes for first time buyers. Be sure to Google for that 🙂

The scrub is suitable for all skin types (although my mum who has dry skin does not like it much since she felt her skin become too dehydrated).

As per the packaging, the scrub is filled with ultra fine mineral enzymes and botanicals to sooth and deep cleanse the skin. It is also hypo allergenic, paraben free, gluten free, 100% vegan, artificial colour free, not tested on animals and is certified organic.

Each scrub contains 4 oz. or 113 g worth of product and is made in the USA.

Apart from those with dry skin, this scrub is heaven sent. It polishes your face leaving it silky smooth. Also, unlike most scrubs in Singapore, the beads are versatile in the sense that you could apply little pressure for a gentle scrub or you could apply more pressure to have a deeper clean.

Basically, you would need to wash off ur makeup and cleanse your face ( biore aqua jelly is 2 steps combined into 1). Once your face is damp, apply the scrub and gently buff the dead skin off in circular motions. You could increase or decrease the pressure as per your preference. Then simply wash off with tap water and you could go ahead with toner and moisturizer etc.

This is my favourite scrub so far since I prefer the beads to feel rough and “sharp” when I apply a lot of pressure . (yes, it annoys me when I do not feel the beads scraping a layer of dead skin off my face haha 🙂 )

The smell is amazing too. Very natural and full of aromatic oils.. Almost reminds me of going to a spa.

Absolutely happy to have “adopted” this scrub from my mum.

Happy mother’s to all. :p

Cheers,
