Fav picks : MAC Divine Night Part 1

Hi Glamifys,

MAC just released part 1 of their Devine Night collection last week and I have been absolutely loving the 3 items below.

Here is a link to my previous post about this collection which contains swatches, pictures and Singapore price list.

First/second up ( the first two items go together so I can pick which is first or second! haha) : Flair for Finery Lipstick

* I just added a picture of my nails as that’s the gold nail polish that was released with the divine night collection 🙂 **

This is my favorite nude color of all time. I was never a fan of lipsticks that paled me out before. However, this just grew and grew on me and now it’s like my ultimate must have!

Cynthia ( MAC makeup artist at Ion Sephora) is a good friend of mine and she insisted on me trying this lipstick with a matching lip gloss as she said that it would be perfect for me.

As much as I resisted, she patiently sat me down and applied it on me. The lipstick on its own is way too pale.

However, add the lipgloss on top of it and it’s absolute , hands down my favorite smokey eye complement.

The darker left swatch is the lipgloss in You’ve Got It. The lighter pink is Flair for Finery lipstick.

It’s a pale pink lustre lipstick. It has a sheen to it which even allow dry cracked lips to carry this off.

The lipstick retails for SGD 32. Not to mention the chic packaging. Regular MAC Black tube with gold rims!

First/ Second favorite – lipgloss in You’ve got it

It is a brownish pinkish nude gloss with (weird as it sounds) greenish duo chrome super fine glitter.

Retails for SGD 39 and it is so glorious to use it even on its own 🙂

Left is gloss on its own, middle is lipstick, right is lipstick topped with gloss

Here is a swatch on my lips. Top left is my product-free lips. Middle and lower left are with Flair for Finery only. Right column are Flair for Finery topped with You’ve Got it

The last fav product from this collection is the Kohl power eye pencil in mystery.

It’s a dark forest green with glitter and I have to stress! It is not suitable for waterline. The glitter can scratch the cornea. So please use it only on the lids.

The green is very intense and it last pretty long on my lids without creasing or smearing.

Retails for SGD 33 and can also double up as a base for smokey eye looks 🙂
