Review, swatches and eotd : Urban Decay’s Naked 3

Hi Glamifys

This is a real treat!

Urban Decay, as you may know, have released their 3rd installment of the Naked line. It retails for SGD 83 at all Sephora stores

The first two Naked palettes were mainly warm browns and nudes with a few colors being duplicated 😦

Naked 3 is the best by far in my opinion. For one, there are no repeat colors. So all are brand new colors! Yippie

Two, the palette has a rose gold theme which fits all skin tones. Not the boring warm browns anymore. Really pretty soft rose gold variations

Three, there are 3 matte colors , 1 chunky glitter and the rest are sheen or shimmer. Most colors except the chunky glitter “DUST” have minimal to no fall out. 🙂

The packaging is beautiful!!!!! Metallic pencil case style rose gold palette :p

Big mirror !! Great for travel so you can sit down in the right spot of the hotel room to do your makeup. I hate the vanities in most hotels since the lightning is usually not the best hehe

There are 4 samples of their famous primer potions. Basically, it’s a base for your eyeshadows to stick on and it prevents creasing.

Playing around with all the colors of the palette, this is what I came up with.

I even used nooner mixed with factory for my eyebrows.

Haha oh my! You don’t know what you are missing out my dear. Naked 3 is a lot better than sleek. Although the colors appear similar, the texture is of incomparable quality. Blending is a breeze, color pigmentation is awesome and yes, use ur fingers to get a beautiful wash of color on ur eyes.

On a lazy day, I just pick a colour. Use my pinky and swipe my eyelids with it. Mascara and I’m out of the house. It’s that easy! 🙂

Hope you grab it soon and enjoy it now 😀

Have you tried the sephora jumbo pencils? They are cheaper and works just as well as the 24/7 pencils 🙂

Oooh the look you came up with is beautiful. I have Naked and Naked2. I can’t decide if I should get 3 or not. My skin tone is light, and my eyelids have a sort of pinkish purplish tone. The problem is, I’m afraid most of the lighter colors will give me that pinkeyeish problem… ugh but the colors are all so beautiful. Decisions decisions… :-S

      Hi dear.

Ohhh. I have a friend who has that same challenge.

Pink undertones which are very visible on the lids. She shared that using a base like a Mac paintpot in painterly (matte eggshell) totally solved the problem.

Find a base that will give you a fresh canvas to start with. The colors are very pretty and I find that Naked 1 and 2 are kinda boring after awhile. Mainly because the colors are just brown. Haha

This palette just screams romantic, girly and sweet 🙂

      Cheers,
