Review: Peirce Glass Coating Service

Hi Glamifys,

A little warning that the next few posts will not be beauty related… ( except one which would be an upcoming review of THE BODY SHOP’s WONDERBLUR PRIMER) …

It’s been a crazy few weeks between the house and a few more changes in our lives and both the boyfy and me are probably Gona need a long break after this :p

Well… Where shall I start with our car… Haa

2 months ago, bf decided to spend quite a hefty amount to get the car polished with glass coating. It was ok for a few days and then the gloss faded and the scratch marks begin to surface once more 😦 waste $$$$. It was supposed to allow rain / water to bead up and for the water to glide off the car. The polish did cause the rain / water to bead BUT! It never glide off the car one bit. It just sat there creating water marks 😥

Decided not to do anything and bammm!!! A few weeks later, a car decided to jam brake on amber light and we happily stopped behind him.

Split second later, a lorry came full force and whacked us from behind and as a result of the impact, we whacked into the stupid car who jam braked.

Both front and back bumpers , hood of the car and lights were crushed 😦 after replacement works with original parts, the repair company sent the whole car for polishing. Omg! We nearly fell off our chairs… The polishing had swirl marks everywhere!! Including the parts that was not affected by the accident and where e glass coating was done.

Then bf chanced upon the highly reviewed Peirce Glass Coating that uses Ultra Pika Pika Rain brand 🙂

Just look at the before and after photos courtesy of Peirce 😀

Bf drove to the shop at Sin Ming Road and we went for lunch… 5 and a half hours later, we received a call and Ta dah!!!! We fetched a brand new BMW haha oops!

That’s just crazy… The gentleman who arranged for the polish was so nice… He was in constant contact with the bf as we mentioned to have the car done ASAP for an event. Service wise! AAA ! 👍👏👏

Mind you, they are so good that their waiting list is a few months haha and they do this everyday! Imagine how many customers they have lined up !! Oh my gawd

So blown away by the level of detail and extra effort put in as we mentioned the car had to look as beautiful as possible given that it would photographed quite a lot for the event. He even put in extra hours just to make everything Swee Swee!

Very touched when people care so much about their work and want the best possible for their customers hor… 🙂

Bf and I couldn’t help but admire the car… Like it was a day old only ! The pictures just won’t do the Pika Pika much justice. See it in real life under the sun and wow!

What sets them apart is that Pika Pika is made in Japan and Peirce does not use any machines to apply it. Purely hand polished 😀

It even came with a certificate of application !

We purchased a special diy coating for the windows too! Just wipe it on and yippie! All shiny and clean. Rain will just glide off like water off a duck’s back

This is not a sponsored blog post and it was purely written due to how appreciative I am to Peirce for a job well done.

Both the bf and myself highly recommend Peirce Glass Coating for their professionalism and eagerness to go the extra mile to exceed customers’ satisfaction.

Do check out their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/peirceglasscoating. Or do what we did, whatsapp +65 81615066.

We paid $300 for the service which is expected to last up to 5 years easily. For touch ups here and there, you can also buy the diy package for $200 after a year or two. Totally not necessary though 🙂

Cheers,

Hi, how is the paint after two years? Other than buying the solution for windscreen and applying yourself, do you go back to them for maintenance ? Many thanks!

Hi, we sold the car after 1.5 years. At the point of sale, the polish was as good as new. We have to wash the car regularly to maintain the polish and whenever there are bird poop on the car, we would wash it off ASAP. This way, the polish won’t be affected as much. We didn’t go back to them for maintenance as there was no need to. Once we got our new car, we sent it back to them for polishing. 🙂 really good !

Hi! Yes it’s fantastic still. The car body has taken a lot of beating from direct sunlight but after every wash, it’s still glossy and looks brand new. For the windscreen pika pika protection, we reapply every 6 months mainly due to the wiper action removing some of the product each time. 😉

Hahaha it looks really good! Glad to hear nothing bad happened from that little accident, hope you’re feeling better now!
